Room Based Deputy Manager

Our Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Abington Park, is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Room Based Deputy Manager to join our team. You will play a key role in caring for, supporting, and inspiring our children, encouraging curiosity, and helping them thrive every day.

About Our Nursery

Our beautifully renovated townhouse welcomes families with a bright, inviting staircase leading to the heart of the nursery. Spread across two floors, our nursery features six bright, calm rooms and spacious gardens, creating the perfect indoor and outdoor environment for your child to grow and flourish every day.

Fantastic Outdoor Space

Our large gardens provide a variety of exciting spaces for children to explore and grow. From peaceful quiet areas to hands-on mud kitchens, planting zones, and climbing equipment, there is something for every child to enjoy, encouraging both active play and moments of calm.

Conveniently located in the heart of Abington, just off the A45, our nursery is easily accessible for local families and only a 15-minute drive from the M1. Situated opposite Abington Park, we regularly make the most of this beautiful natural space for outdoor learning experiences. With main bus routes and good train links nearby, getting to us is simple.

What will you be doing

  • Create an environment that supports the individual needs of all children
  • Maintain systems to monitor, evaluate, and improve the quality of our childcare practices
  • Maintain effective methods of communication with children, staff, parents, and carers
  • Maintain open and positive working relationships with staff
  • Ensure that practices and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Assist in agreeing and reviewing individual targets with staff
  • Assume playroom and additional management responsibilities when required
  • Keep costs in line with the agreed budgets
