- Model outstanding care and education, demonstrating excellence and inspiring colleagues across multiple sites.
- Guide teams in delivering high-quality observations, assessments, and planning, using these to track progress and drive continuous improvement.

- Lead and support teams to adhere to policies, procedures, and safeguarding practices, ensuring child welfare remains central in every setting.
- Facilitate team meetings and development sessions, providing guidance, feedback, and coaching to strengthen leadership and practice.
- Encourage and develop team performance through regular feedback, mentoring, and professional development, helping teams reach consistently high standards of teaching and care.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, supporting teams to communicate effectively and foster family engagement.

- Champion the behavioural safety framework, embedding it in practice across multiple sites.
- Respect and value all team members, children, and parents, promoting a positive, collaborative, and inclusive working environment wherever you are.
- Work flexibly across multiple nurseries, adapting to varying routines and needs, and attend out-of-hours meetings or events as required.
- Uphold the company H&S Statement of Intent, ensuring safety is always a priority.
- Role model exceptional standards across all nurseries: lead by example, thrive on feedback, and inspire teams to deliver educational excellence consistently.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
