About the Company
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established nursery placed in rural countryside in Reading, the setting is situated amongst natural green spaces that allows us to regularly take our learning outdoors. They are located just 5 minutes from the A33 and M4 making it easy to commute too from local areas Shinfield, Arborfield, Swallowfield, Wokingham and Earley.
About the Role
They are looking for a Room Manager to join the team this could be suitable for an experience Early years educator looking for their next step up or a new challenge and has a passion for the outdoors!
Responsibilities
- Support the Nursery Manager in delivering high-quality early years care and education.
- Create a safe, stimulating and organised environment for children to thrive.
- Lead and inspire a team of practitioners.
- Ensure best practice and safeguarding standards are maintained.
- Contribute to providing an outstanding experience for both children and families.

£32,045 to £34,255 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience. 42.5 hour per week between 7.30am-6pm.

About you....
Qualifications
- Recognised Level 3 Childcare qualification (essential).
- English GCSE or Level 2 Functional skills.
- Previous experience within an early year or nursery setting.
Required Skills
- Caring, enthusiastic and passionate about supporting children's development.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
- A clear and up-to-date Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one.
