The Tayside Nutrition and Dietetic Service (TNDS) are recruiting to our Band 5 rotational scheme

About the Role

Tayside Nutrition and Dietetic Service currently has eleven rotations across a range of specialist services including Acute, Community, Weight Management, Mental Health, Renal, Medicine for the Elderly and Paediatrics. The duration of each rotation is approximately 12 months depending on the start date. The rotational model provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience, develop knowledge and skills in a range of clinical areas and has been designed to offer optimum scope for career progression.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking two dietitians with good communication and interpersonal skills.

The Tayside Nutrition & Dietetic Service promotes collaborative working across all our teams. This enables and encourages the development and implementation of pathways, standards and innovative practice. It also allows for extensive peer support and opportunities for professional development.

We are committed to the training of dietetic students, medical students and other healthcare professionals. Leadership and clinical supervision will be provided. Newly qualified dietitians are supported to work through the Flying Start NHS Programme in their first year of practice

Hours of Work

  • 36.0 Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm

Requirements

Leadership and clinical supervision will be provided. All applicants will require to be registered with the Health Care Professions Council prior to starting in post.
