About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a supportive, patient focused team, working closely with the MDT to deliver a high quality clinical pharmacy service.
The successful candidate will gain a wide range of experience in clinical specialties including Frailty, Acute admissions, Surgery and Medicine and will be supported in developing to meet the RPS Foundation Framework standards.
The Pharmacy services at Harrogate are highly regarded across the organisation and has developed innovative ways of working in order to respond to the ever-changing needs of our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing pharmaceutical care to patients from admission to discharge
- Actively participating as part of the multi-disciplinary team at ward level
- Providing prescribing advice and support to medical staff
- Patient education
- Participation in quality improvement projects across the department and clinical areas
