Job Description

Thank you for showing an interest in this very exciting role within Homerton Healthcare. It really is a fantastic Trust – vibrant, enthusiastic, and skilled. Hackney is the 2nd most deprived Borough in London and the Homerton has always been totally committed to making the health of City and Hackney residents the very best it can be, a mission which is especially relevant with the current economic situation. As a Trust we manage both acute and community services and are also part of one of the best integrated care systems in the country.

We are looking for a highly motivated, forward-thinking, dynamic individual to join our senior team, who is keen to learn, innovate and push the service forward.

Why join our Pharmacy team?

We are a friendly forward-thinking and dynamic team, always open to new ideas. We were the first Trust in East London to adopt e-prescribing and we are now implementing full automation of medicines management processes Trust wide. This is an exciting time to join Homerton Pharmacy as we re-design our clinical services; enhance the role of prescribing pharmacists, support virtual wards, and build an exemplar service fit for the future.

Closing date is indicative only and this vacancy may close early without notice when sufficient applications have been received.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
