Band 3 Rotational Senior Pharmacy Assistant

The Inpatient Pharmacy at the Royal Berkshire Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant/Dispenser to join our pharmacy team.

Candidate Requirements

Candidates must possess or be working towards NVQ Level 2 qualification, or show willingness to complete training.

Role Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills in many aspects of the Pharmacy service, from dispensing specialised medicines, liaising with a range of different healthcare professionals and assisting in the supply of Monitored Dosage Systems (MDS).

  • Undertake duties on a rotational basis across Pharmacy Stores and the multidisciplinary Dispensary teams.
  • Performing a range of tasks to assist and support the provision of a variety of Pharmacy services.
