Are you passionate about making a tangible impact locally and changing the lives of vulnerable young people? Roundabout is looking for a Project Worker to support homeless young people aged 16-25 in Rotherham.

About The Role

The Project Worker role is designed for someone who has a passion for working face to face with young people with extremely complex needs who often can’t access mainstream housing and homeless services.

To provide high-quality, person-centred support to vulnerable young people aged 16–25 experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness, including those with complex and multiple needs such as substance misuse, mental health challenges, offending behaviours, trauma histories, and high dependency support requirements.

You will be the first point of contact with services and support young people on a one-to-one basis, tailoring the support to their individual needs. By being a continued single point of contact you will support them in their recovery to find employment, undertake training, cultivate positive social circles and develop the necessary skills to maintain accommodation and independence, ultimately avoiding a return to homelessness.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
