Job Description
Responsibilities
- Cleans and organizes the deck, equipment, and all related work areas.
- Off-loads supplies from boats and moves them to storage areas at the direction of the Deck Pushers and Crane Operators.
- Checks loads for proper slinging, lift clearance, obstructions in movement, balance, etc.
- Ensures that barriers are appropriately in place prior to lifting operations.
- Works to ensure that all decks and other cargo-related spaces are clean, organized, and inventoried/audited.
- Performs assigned duties during safety drills and emergency situations as per the station bill.
- Actively participates in the weekly safety meeting and other safety management system issues.
- For rigs in Brazil, if there is an operational need, a customer request, or restrictions on the full performance of offshore duties in the external area, the employee may be assigned to perform administrative activities on board the units or in the company's administrative offices in the cities of Macaé or Rio de Janeiro.
Qualifications / Experience
- Two (2) years or more in a manual labor role, preferably military, construction, industrial, or prior offshore experience.
- Must meet all the training and certification requirements for Roustabout which will vary by unit location according to local requirements and regulations.
