About The Role

At AO, we're passionate about making life easier for our customers. Every day, our teams work behind the scenes to deliver brilliant service and ensure everything runs smoothly from click to delivery and installation.

We're looking for a highly organised and analytical Route Planner to join our Premium Installations team. You'll plan and optimise routes across our Gas and Electric fleets, helping deliver excellent customer service while maximising efficiency. Working closely with operational teams, you'll manage route changes, monitor capacity and support escalations to keep our installation network running smoothly.

Job Type: Full time and permanent contract

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off / 6am- 6pm

Hours: 40.25

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing

  • Plan, optimise and schedule the final premium installation plan for Gas and Electric fleets
  • Manage escalations and special requests with Installation teams.
  • Optimise routes using Paragon software to maximise efficiency and customer service.
  • Review and approve final routing plans, ensuring all legal, operational and business constraints are met
  • Monitor regional capacity and adjust plans to meet changing demands
  • Collaborate with operational teams to maintain delivery performance and minimise service disruption

A Few Things About You

  • Preferred experience in route planning, scheduling and geographical analysis
  • Strong understanding of capacity planning and resource allocation
  • Experience working within a fast-paced logistics, transport or field service environment.
  • Good IT skills, including Excel, scheduling software and web-based operational platforms.
  • Excellent planning, organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
