We're looking for an exceptional Assistant Roving Facilities Manager to join a growing team to support a diverse portfolio of commercial clients across London.

This isn't a role for someone who simply manages buildings it's for someone who excels at building relationships. We're seeking a confident communicator who enjoys working with people, understands how to develop trust with clients, and can balance multiple priorities while delivering an outstanding customer experience. You'll become a trusted point of contact for a varied client portfolio, ensuring their properties are safe, compliant and operating efficiently, while providing a visible, professional and proactive Facilities Management service.

👉WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING...

Your focus will be on developing strong client relationships while ensuring the smooth delivery of Facilities Management services across your portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining excellent relationships with clients, becoming a trusted advisor and first point of contact.
  • Conducting regular client meetings and site visits to review property condition, service delivery, compliance and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Producing clear, accurate and timely management reports for clients and senior management.
  • Preparing annual property budgets and monitoring expenditure throughout the year.
  • Validating invoices and ensuring expenditure is accurately managed, highlighting significant costs or quotations where appropriate.
  • Raising and managing reactive and planned works through the helpdesk system, obtaining quotations and coordinating approvals.
  • Managing supplier performance through regular review meetings, KPI monitoring and service evaluations.
  • Ensuring contractors work safely, with appropriate permits and health and safety procedures in place.
  • Carrying out detailed property inspections using company reporting templates and following agreed inspection schedules.
  • Maintaining accurate property information, compliance records and documentation across company systems.
  • Supporting statutory compliance by ensuring inspections, certifications and remedial actions are completed within required timescales.
  • Assisting with business continuity planning and emergency evacuation procedures where required.
  • Raising and maintaining work orders, ensuring contracts are updated to reflect annual increases or service variations.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistent service delivery across all client accounts.
  • Completing all required professional development and mandatory training.

You'll also have:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage professionally at every level.
  • A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.
  • The ability to manage multiple client relationships while prioritising competing demands.
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities to improve client service.
  • The confidence to work independently while remaining a collaborative team player.
  • A positive attitude and genuine desire to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Proven experience managing suppliers and monitoring service performance.
  • A strong understanding of both hard and soft Facilities Management services.
  • Experience working within a Facilities Management environment (minimum two years preferred).
  • Experience managing multiple client sites is advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience implementing and improving Facilities Management processes and systems.
  • IOSH Managing Safely (essential).
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (desirable).
