Roving Facilities Manager

We are seeking a Roving Facilities Manager to support clients across a diverse portfolio of demised commercial properties throughout London. You'll provide a proactive, customer-focused Facilities Management service, ensuring occupier-managed spaces are safe, compliant and well-maintained while building trusted, long-term relationships with clients.

👉 What You'll Be Doing...

You'll take full responsibility for delivering Facilities Management services across a varied portfolio, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and developing strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
  • Conducting regular client meetings and site visits to review building condition, service delivery, compliance and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Taking ownership of multiple commercial properties, ensuring all aspects of Facilities Management are delivered to the highest standards.
  • Preparing and presenting clear, accurate management reports for clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Producing annual service charge and operational budgets, monitoring expenditure and identifying opportunities for cost efficiencies.
  • Validating invoices, managing expenditure and reviewing quotations to ensure value for money.
  • Managing reactive and planned maintenance through the CAFM/helpdesk system, coordinating contractors and ensuring works are completed within agreed timescales.
  • Overseeing supplier performance through KPI reviews, service meetings and contract management to ensure consistently high standards.
  • Ensuring contractors work safely, with appropriate permits to work, RAMS and health & safety procedures in place.
  • Carrying out detailed property inspections, identifying maintenance requirements and driving remedial actions through to completion.
  • Maintaining accurate property records, compliance documentation and statutory certification across company systems.
  • Ensuring all statutory compliance requirements are met, including managing inspections, certifications and remedial works within required deadlines.
  • Supporting business continuity planning, emergency preparedness and fire safety procedures across the portfolio.
  • Managing work orders, contract variations and annual contract reviews to ensure accurate service delivery.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve service delivery, operational performance and client satisfaction.
  • Working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure a seamless and consistent service across all client accounts.
  • Keeping professional knowledge up to date by completing all mandatory training and continuing professional development.

You'll also have:

  • Proven experience as a Facilities Manager, managing a portfolio of commercial properties.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage professionally at all levels.
  • A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience managing budgets, expenditure and service contracts.
  • Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional levels of customer service.
  • Experience managing contractors and suppliers, monitoring KPIs and driving service improvements.
  • A solid understanding of both Hard and Soft Facilities Management services.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, health & safety legislation and property compliance requirements.
  • Experience implementing and improving Facilities Management processes and systems.
  • IOSH Managing Safely (essential).
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (desirable).
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.

Monday – Friday | 9:00am – 5:30pm

💰 Salary Up to £50,000k + Car allowance + Up to 10% Bonus

💎 Hybrid working with the autonomy to manage your own diary and client visits.
