Rowing Club Coach

£25 per hour | Up to £2,100 per year | Exton Park

The University of Chester is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Rowing Club Coach to support the development and success of its student rowing programme. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced coach to play a key role in enhancing the student experience through the delivery of high-quality, inclusive coaching sessions.

Working closely with student club officers and the Sport Development Team, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering structured coaching sessions
  • Supporting participants of all abilities
  • Fostering a positive and developmental club environment

About You

  • Hold a minimum Level 1 coaching qualification in rowing
  • Experience working with young adults
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to motivate, engage, and develop participants
  • Ability to promote a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable sporting environment
  • Safeguarding and Protecting Children in Sport certificate is essential
  • First Aid qualification desirable

What We Offer

  • £25 per hour coaching rate (maximum £2,100 per annum)
  • Coaching programme covering 21 weeks from October to May
