Return To Practice - Podiatrist
Band 4 - Full time (36 hours)
Fixed-term (9 months)
Aberdeen City Health & Social Care Partnership Podiatry Service is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Return to Practice Podiatrist to join our welcoming, friendly, and supportive Podiatry Team.
This post is specifically designed to support podiatrists who wish to return to the HCPC register following a break in practice. You will be supported through a structured Return to Practice programme, combining supervised clinical experience, professional development, and mentorship.
This is an excellent opportunity to rebuild confidence, refresh clinical skills, and reintegrate into a rewarding NHS role within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Collaborate with experienced podiatrists delivering care across community settings.
- Refresh and develop podiatry skills including Minor Surgery, MSK and Wound care.
- Participate in a structured Return to Practice programme aligned with HCPC requirements.
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with service and professional standards.
- Contribute to patient-centred, safe, and effective care.
You Will Require
- Previous qualification in Podiatry (BSc or equivalent)
- Previously HCPC registered podiatrist (lapsed registration accepted)
- Commitment to completing HCPC Return to Practice requirements.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and engage in supervised practice.
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
