Business Systems Analyst (RPA)
6 Months
£450 per day (Outside IR35)
Manchester (1 day per week on-site)
This 6 month contract role requires a Business Systems Analyst to lead Agile requirements gathering, process mapping, and user story breakdown, bridging business stakeholders and third party partners to deliver Blue Prism automation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements elicitation, backlog refinement, and user story breakdown for Robotic Process Automation initiatives.
- Drive the delivery of the initial project (Alternative Enrolment Automation) using Blue Prism.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, in-house developers, and third-party Blue Prism delivery partners.
- Define testable acceptance criteria (using BDD or equivalent) and manage backlog dependencies, risks, and business impacts.
- Produce key Agile deliverables, including epics, user stories, current/future-state process maps, and traceability matrices.
- Support test scenario definition, UAT planning, execution, and defect triage.
- Assist in establishing a broader RPA Centre of Excellence.

- Significant experience operating as a Business Analyst/Business Systems Analyst.
- Demonstrable track record delivering RPA solutions (Blue Prism experience is essential)
- Strong background in Agile/Scrum environments, leading workshops, backlog grooming, and user story mapping.
- Proven ability to write detailed, testable acceptance criteria and process maps.
- Hands on experience working across dual delivery channels: internal engineering teams and external suppliers/partners.
