About Tech Pipeline
Most companies have automation tools that break more often than they work because the initial logic did not account for real-world messy data. At Tech Pipeline, we spend our time finding these break points and making sure processes actually stay fixed. We are currently supporting a partner that is a London-based organization with complex data workflows that require steady monitoring. As an RPA Support Specialist, you will help maintain the bots we have built to ensure they continue to handle information accurately across several different systems. This is a fully remote role where you will focus on the technical stability of our automation solutions.
What you will do
- Monitor the daily execution of automation scripts to catch errors before they affect the rest of the business.
- Read through log files to identify exactly where a bot failed or why a specific record was skipped.
- Update standard operating procedures (SOPs) when a workflow changes so the documentation matches the reality of the code.
- Help the senior team test new logic in sandbox environments before we push updates to the live production systems.
- Track recurring errors and help categorize them so we can identify long-term patterns in system instability.
- Verify that data moved by an automation matches the source material to prevent silent failures in reporting.
- Communicate with the people who use these tools to understand when a bot is behaving in a way they did not expect.
- Keep clear records of every manual intervention you make to keep a process running.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we are looking for
- A strong interest in how business software works and how different systems exchange data.
- Basic skills in Excel, such as comparing lists or using lookups, to verify that data has moved correctly between files.
- The ability to explain a technical error in plain language so others can understand the issue without needing to see the code.
- A logical mindset that enjoys untangling a process to find where a specific step failed.
- Reliability in following through on daily checks and keeping internal documentation up to date.
- Curiosity about automation tools and a willingness to learn how they are built and maintained.
- High attention to detail, since a missing comma or an extra space can cause a bot to fail.

How we work
Tech Pipeline is built on the idea that good documentation solves more problems than a meeting ever will. We rely on clear, written communication to keep everyone aligned in our remote setup. Our goal is always to leave a process in better shape than we found it. We do not provide abstract advice: we fix the actual tools that people use every day. Once we have stabilized a system and the client can run it without our help, we move on to the next challenge.
