ABOUT THE ROLE
Motivania creates immersive running experiences that combine movement, music, cinematic audio, storytelling and technology.
We're looking for a Running Event Manager in London to build a local community around these experiences and lead their delivery on the ground.
This isn't a traditional running coach or pacer role. You'll take ownership of the participant experience — connecting with the local running community, coordinating events and running alongside participants as the experience unfolds.
The first experience you'll work with is Tempo X, a cinematic group running experience where story, sound and movement unfold together in real time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organise and lead Motivania running experiences in London
- Build relationships with runners, running clubs and communities
- Grow participation in upcoming events
- Coordinate participant communication before and during events
- Lead pre-run briefings and warm-ups
- Organise runners according to the experience format
- Run alongside participants and oversee the experience on the course
- Ensure each event is delivered in line with the experience design and operational framework
- Coordinate the finish and gather participant feedback
- Share field insights and recommendations with the Motivania team

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
