About The Role
We are seeking a qualified Rural Surveyor to join our friendly team in the firm’s Sedgefield office. The role involves a wide range of work which includes Valuation, Utilities, Grants and Subsidies, Property Sales and Lettings, Landlord and Tenant, Renewables and Development. The successful applicant will work alongside other qualified and trainee surveyors in the Sedgefield office and wider youngsRPS team with a varied and interesting workload.

About You
You will be joining one of the leading, independent local firms of RICS Rural and Commercial Surveyors, Land Agents, Estate Agents and Development Consultants and will deal with a wide variety of clients and projects. The client base from our Sedgefield office primarily covers Co Durham and North Yorkshire.
We are looking for a qualified rural surveyor to join our busy Sedgefield office. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious, practical person with a genuine passion for the industry and a desire to handle a wide-ranging workload for a varied client base. At least 5 years’ post qualification experience would be preferred.
Applicants should be able to work with enthusiasm, flexibility and have an excellent capacity for hard work and attention to detail. Outstanding communication and people skills, ideally with a practical knowledge of the agricultural sector.

Preferably, the applicant will have experience of working with Microsoft office packages, digital mapping systems, be a Member of RICS, and, ideally, also be a RICS Registered Valuer and Fellow of CAAV.
Full UK Driving Licence essential.
