Location: Central London (Hybrid – 4 days in the office, 1-day WFH)

Salary: £90,000 - £120,000


The Opportunity

Our client is a high-performance proprietary trading firm specialising in quantitative sports trading. They're looking for an experienced Operations Manager / COO to work alongside the Founder & Chief Investment Officer, taking ownership of the day-to-day running of the trading operation.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building processes, solving problems and keeping a fast-moving business running efficiently. You'll work across trading, risk, operations and technology, ensuring everything operates smoothly as the business continues to scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily trading operations across multiple strategies.
  • Support traders and researchers by improving operational processes.
  • Manage capital allocation, execution workflows and performance reporting.
  • Maintain operational risk controls and exposure management.
  • Coordinate across trading, research, engineering and external providers.
  • Oversee operational infrastructure, data flows, reporting and trading platforms.
  • Help shape team growth and operational processes as the business expands.
