Russian Voice Actor - Freelance AI Trainer Project
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Russian Voice Actor - Freelance AI Trainer Project based in United Kingdom.
This role offers experienced Russian voice professionals the opportunity to contribute directly to the development of next-generation AI voice technologies.
You’ll use your performance expertise to create and evaluate high-quality speech data for advanced language and voice models.
The work combines professional voice acting with linguistic evaluation, annotation, and AI-assisted testing.
You’ll assess pronunciation, tone, pacing, emotional expression, and regional variation across a range of speech samples.
Your feedback will help AI systems produce Russian speech that sounds more accurate, natural, expressive, and human.
The role is ideal for detail-oriented voice professionals who are curious about emerging technology and passionate about language.
Your expertise will contribute to AI experiences with potential applications across education, entertainment, accessibility, and more.
Accountabilities
- Record scripted speech material in Russian for AI training and evaluation purposes.
- Evaluate AI-generated voice outputs for linguistic accuracy, pronunciation, naturalness, tone, pacing, and overall quality.
- Provide expert feedback on emotional expression, vocal delivery, and regional or linguistic variation.
- Identify, annotate, and document errors or inconsistencies in AI-generated speech.
- Collaborate with project teams to refine prompts, evaluation methodologies, and voice-design guidelines.
- Apply professional voice-acting judgment to distinguish authentic, expressive Russian speech from outputs requiring improvement.
- Deliver consistent, high-quality recordings while following project-specific technical and performance guidelines.
- Contribute observations and recommendations that help improve the quality and reliability of Russian voice models.

Requirements
- Demonstrated professional experience in Russian voice acting, dubbing, narration, or a related performance discipline.
- Strong command of Russian pronunciation, intonation, pacing, and natural spoken expression.
- Ability to deliver clear, authentic, nuanced, and consistent vocal performances from scripted material.
- Excellent attention to detail when assessing pronunciation, tone, emotional expression, and linguistic accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide precise and actionable feedback.
- Experience in voice training, coaching, linguistic annotation, language evaluation, or similar activities is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI tools, speech technologies, or language-model evaluation is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and reliably in a remote freelance environment.
- Access to a high-quality recording setup, including a reliable microphone and quiet recording environment.
- Secure computer and stable internet connection suitable for recording and evaluation work.
