Rust Developer (FinTech)

Location: London
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3/4 Days per week)
Salary: £80,000–£110,000 base

The Company

We're partnering with a rapidly growing Capital Markets SaaS FinTech that develops mission-critical software used by some of the world's leading financial institutions. Their platform enables investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds with trading infrastructure, and deliver high-performance solutions across the capital markets ecosystem.

As the business continues to grow, they're looking to hire an experienced Rust Developer to help build the next generation of their core platform.

The Role

This is an opportunity to work on highly performant, low-latency software used by global financial institutions. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and optimising core backend services, working closely with Product, Engineering, and Quantitative teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and efficient systems.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of commercial software engineering experience in C++, Java, Python
  • Some exposure to or a willingness to work in Rust.
  • Experience building high-performance backend systems and APIs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and software engineering fundamentals.
  • Exposure to Capital Markets, Trading, or Financial Services would be beneficial but is not essential.
  • Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or another quantitative degree preferred.
