Rust Engineer | Up to £180k | London
Are you obsessed with Rust? Rust Engineer, or an exceptional engineer who wants to go all in on Rust, required to join one of London’s fastest growing start-ups.
This isn’t a role where Rust is a footnote on the job description. It is the heart of the engineering culture.
The team is building performance-critical software where the choice of language really matters. They’re looking for passionate engineers who deeply care about how software is built, the impact it has and want to become specialised in Rust.
Importantly, this role is in-office in London.
Who you are:
- You live and breathe Rust and want to spend your days building with it
- Or you’re an exceptional C++, Python, Java, C#, Go or systems engineer who is fed up with only using Rust for side or personal projects.
- Great problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in fast-moving engineering environments
- Interested in AI, ML or working in a cutting edge organisation
- Someone who enjoys understanding why a technology works the way it does, rather than simply using it as a tool

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
