With a focus on atmosphere and guest satisfaction, this team ensures The Belfry’s commitment to excellence shines through long after the sun sets.
Salary
The base annual rate for this role is £32,764.94 per annum, plus service charge.
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated F&B Assistant Manager to join our team in the Ryder Restaurant. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a vibrant hospitality environment, delivering exceptional service and ensuring a seamless guest experience in a dynamic, high-quality setting.

As Food & Beverage Assistant Manager, you will work alongside the managers to lead and organize your team to deliver excellent operational standards and maximize revenue in the department.
You will also be responsible for:
- Coaching, developing, and acting as a role model to your team
- Overseeing compliance with Health & Safety regulations
- Handling customer queries and resolving any issues
- Assist in recruitment and training to company standards
- Work alongside management regarding menu changes
- Reviewing weekly business to address successes and opportunities for improvement with revenue, guest measures, and payroll
- Identifying opportunities to drive profit, create value for guests, and encourage innovation
- Ensuring that your team are informed, motivated, engaged, and developed, to deliver operational excellence
About You
The ideal candidate will have a proven food & beverage background within high-end hotels. They should be experienced with regards to high volume.
You will also have:
- Outstanding leadership skills that inspire and motivate others to deliver exceptional results
- Absolute commitment to guest expectations & their experience
- Personal integrity to develop trust within their team
- Experience in cellar management and stock control
- Experience in making rotas and managing payroll
