Applications are invited for the post of Workforce Planning & Implementation Assistant within the Human Resources Workforce Planning Team based at Hutton Headquarters.
This role works alongside the Workforce Planning and Implementation Officer providing administrative support to the implementation of organisational restructures and workforce modernisation programmes, including shift rota changes.
The right candidate will deliver on all aspects of resource and workforce planning, including succession planning, vacancy management and organisational change.

Key Responsibilities
- To administer all stages of the vacancy approval process.
- To provide administrative support to the implementation of organisational restructures and workforce modernisation programmes, including shift rota changes.
- To assist in the delivery of a customer focused administrative service ensuring that the Constabulary meets all HR priorities.
- To deal with internal and external enquiries by telephone, correspondence or personal contact and to liaise with internal and external customers and stakeholders as required.
- To assist in the development and implementation of HR administrative procedures to facilitate effective and efficient working practices.

Skills And Experience
- CIPD level 3 or equivalent is desirable but not essential
- Experience of working to conflicting deadlines and tight timescales within a busy environment
- Experience of producing accurate written information and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
- Experience of using Microsoft Software Applications, including Excel
Vetting And Medical
Please be aware, as a condition of your appointment you must undergo and pass Recruitment Vetting. Please be aware there is a minimum 3 year UK residency requirement for Recruitment vetting and you must be 18 years old at the point of applying. Successful applicants will also be subject to a medical assessment.
