Lancashire Constabulary ICT Client Support Officer
Lancashire Constabulary is seeking a proactive and customer-focused ICT Client Support Officer to join our Digital Services Department.
Technology plays a vital role in modern policing, enabling officers and staff to protect communities, respond to incidents and investigate crime effectively. As an ICT Client Support Officer, you will provide high-quality technical support and customer service to users across the organisation, helping to ensure that critical systems and devices remain operational and available.
This role is temporary for 6 months.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide 2nd line ICT support to the organisation
- To be responsible for the maintenance, fault diagnosis, repairs and upgrades of ICT equipment and services across the
- To provide technical advice and support to customers, stakeholders, and ICT staff in order to maximise system performance and to facilitate the implementation of changes and new products / applications.
- To adhere to systems of internal control operating within Client Support, ensuring compliance with Constabulary policies and ICT National
- To contribute to the design, installation, and support of ICT systems, including the specification of equipment requirements.

Skills And Experience
- ITIL Foundation Certificate or willingness to work towards with 12 months
- Knowledge of Client Support discipline
- Experience and knowledge of current IT infrastructure, applications, and systems
- Experience of and the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, internally and externally
- Experience of communicating effectively across a wide spectrum of people, both individually and in groups
Vetting And Medical
Please be aware, as a condition of your appointment you must undergo and pass Recruitment Vetting (RV). Please be aware there is a minimum 3 year UK residency requirement for Recruitment vetting and you must be 18 years old at the point of applying. Successful applicants will also be subject to a medical assessment.
