About the job you're considering
Capgemini is looking for an experienced SAP Basis & Solution Manager Consultant to join our Application Development & Maintenance (ADM) team, supporting a highly secure and business-critical SAP landscape. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining the stability, performance, and security of a complex SAP S/4HANA environment that underpins vital operational services.
As part of Capgemini's ADM practice, you will work within a collaborative team responsible for delivering exceptional application support and continuous service improvement. Our ADM teams ensure enterprise platforms remain resilient, compliant, and high-performing, while partnering closely with clients to drive operational excellence and long-term value.
Your Role
- Managing the day-to-day administration and support of SAP S/4HANA environments
- Monitoring system health, performance, and capacity, proactively identifying and resolving issues
- Overseeing transport management and ensuring controlled movement of changes across environments
- Managing SAP landscapes across Development, Test, and Production environments
- Planning and executing system upgrades, patching activities, refreshes, and technical maintenance
- Configuring, maintaining, and optimising SAP Solution Manager (SolMan)
- Supporting platform-level security, compliance, and audit requirements within a highly governed environment
- Working closely with functional, development, and infrastructure teams to ensure platform stability and service continuity
Your skills and experience
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration within SAP S/4HANA environments
- Expertise in SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) configuration and support
- Good understanding of SAP HANA database administration and performance considerations
- Experience managing secure, on-premise SAP environments
- Knowledge of system monitoring, transport management, patching, upgrades, and landscape management
- Strong troubleshooting, stakeholder engagement, and service delivery skills
