An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and compassionate Registered Nurses
To join our expanding Cancer Day Unit at St Bartholomew’s Hospital. Due to continued growth in our cancer services, we are looking to recruit Band 6 Junior Sister/Charge Nurse who are passionate about delivering outstanding patient-centred care and developing a career in cancer nursing.
The successful candidate will care for patients receiving systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT) and supportive treatments, working within a highly skilled multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
You will provide high-quality nursing care to oncology and haemato-oncology patients receiving SACT treatment and supportive care within the Cancer Day Unit. Working under the guidance of experienced senior nurses, you will:

- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care
- Monitor patients throughout treatment
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the wider multidisciplinary team
- Contribute to maintaining a safe clinical environment
- Support service improvements
- Participate in audit activities
- Develop the specialist skills required for cancer nursing practice
