What you will be doing, in roles we place
- Supporting account teams in delivering PR, public affairs or communications campaigns for a portfolio of clients.
- Drafting media lists, briefings, press releases and reports that are accurate and ready to send.
- Monitoring media and political coverage, and flagging what matters to the account team and the client.
- Building the day-to-day relationships that keep a client account running smoothly.
- Learning the craft from more senior colleagues, while taking on genuine responsibility from day one.
What clients are looking for
- Some experience in a PR, public affairs, communications or campaigns environment, whether through an internship, placement or a first role.
- Strong written English, and close attention to detail under deadline pressure.
- An interest in politics, media or current affairs, and the curiosity to keep learning about the sectors clients work in.
- Organisation, reliability and the ability to juggle several clients and deadlines at once.
- A professional manner, and the confidence to represent an agency on a call or in a meeting.
