The Education Village Academy Trust (EVAT) are seeking to appoint a Trust Safeguarding and Attendance Lead.
The Trust Safeguarding and Attendance Lead will provide strategic leadership to ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, child protection and attendance across all Trust schools. The role will drive a strong safeguarding culture, ensuring that all statutory requirements are met and that children are safe, supported and able to attend school regularly to thrive. The postholder will lead the development of Trust-wide safeguarding and attendance strategies, strengthen leadership capacity, and ensure consistency, compliance and continuous improvement across all settings.

EVAT is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and we expect all staff to share this commitment. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974; pre employment checks will be carried out, including a self-disclosure form, references will be sought and successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, and other relevant checks with statutory bodies.
