London Rangers Youth & Community

London Rangers Youth & Community is seeking an experienced Christian Safeguarding Lead Trustee to provide strategic safeguarding oversight across our alternative education provision, football club, community programmes and developing church ministry.

What difference will you make?

Safeguarding is fundamental to everything we do.

Many of the young people engaging with New Level Academy and our wider programmes have experienced significant challenges and may require additional support to participate successfully in education and community life.

Strong safeguarding governance helps ensure that the organisation does not simply have the right policies but that those policies translate into safe practice, professional curiosity, appropriate boundaries and a culture where concerns are identified and acted upon.

Your experience will help trustees understand safeguarding risks, challenge leadership appropriately and ensure agreed improvements are implemented.

You will also help us create something particularly important for our future one strong safeguarding culture connecting our school, football club, charity, community programmes and church ministry.

As London Rangers develops its community sports and education hub, more young people, families, staff, coaches, volunteers and community members will use our facilities.

Your contribution will help us grow responsibly while ensuring the welfare and protection of children and vulnerable people remains at the heart of our decisions.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced safeguarding professional or senior leader with strong knowledge of safeguarding children and young people.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
