Role

Play a key role in a dynamic Safeguarding Team, providing high-quality administrative and organisational support to the Head of Safeguarding and Named Leads. This varied and rewarding role is at the heart of safeguarding services, ensuring the team operates efficiently and effectively. Using your initiative, attention to detail, and excellent organisational skills, you will help support work that makes a real difference to the safety and well-being of CWP patients.

Responsibilities

As Safeguarding Office Manager, you will play a central role in supporting the Safeguarding Team, ensuring the service runs smoothly, efficiently, and effectively. You will:

  • Lead and coordinate the administrative function of the Safeguarding Service, providing high-level support to the Head of Safeguarding and Named Leads.
  • Organise and manage meetings, events, agendas, minutes, and action plans, ensuring actions are tracked and completed on time.
  • Provide business and administrative support for a wide range of safeguarding activities and initiatives.
  • Manage complex diaries and priorities, helping senior colleagues make the best use of their time.
  • Supervise and support the Safeguarding Administrator, including performance reviews, development, and wellbeing support.
  • Act as a key point of contact for both telephone and email enquiries from internal and external partners, handling sensitive and complex enquiries professionally and confidentially.
  • Maintain safeguarding systems, records, intranet content, and electronic documentation to support governance, audit, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure office resources, equipment, and processes are managed efficiently and effectively.
  • Promote excellent communication across the safeguarding team and partner agencies, helping to share learning and best practice.
