About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Safety Advisor to join a major energy infrastructure project based in Dunbar, Scotland.
The successful candidate will provide day-to-day health and safety support across the project, working closely with construction management, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure high standards of safety and compliance are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day Health & Safety support across the project.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety observations.
- Review and support risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work.
- Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Monitor contractor compliance with project H&S requirements.
- Work closely with construction management and subcontractors.
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across the site.
- Ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation and project standards.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Safety Advisor or HSE Advisor on major construction or infrastructure projects.
- Experience within energy, power, utilities, civils, or similar sectors is highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation.
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong site-based safety experience.
