Location: Wembley Stadium, London (with travel across the UK & Ireland)
Contract: Fixed-term | November 2026 – Summer 2028

UK & Ireland 2028 Limited is the local organising committee responsible for delivering UEFA EURO 2028 across the UK & Ireland. We work on behalf of the five Football Associations and in partnership with governments, host cities, stadiums and delivery partners to plan and deliver the tournament safely, inclusively and to world-class standards.
About UEFA EURO 2028
UEFA EURO is one of the world’s largest sporting events. In 2028, it will be hosted across multiple cities in the UK & Ireland, requiring large-scale coordination across transport, infrastructure, stadiums and public services. UEFA owns the tournament and sets requirements; UK & Ireland 2028 Limited is responsible for delivering it locally.
The Role
To support the Non-Stadia Safety & Security workstream in the planning and delivery of safety and security activities for UEFA EURO 2028. The role will assist in coordinating operational planning activities, supporting key workstreams and stakeholders, and providing administrative, organisational and logistical support to ensure the effective delivery of non-stadia operations.
What you’ll be doing
- Act as a coordination point of contact for the Non-Stadia Safety & Security workstream, supporting effective collaboration across the Safety & Security function.
- Provide administrative and organisational support to the Non-Stadia Safety & Security team to support the effective planning and delivery of tournament activities.
- Coordinate meetings and workshops, including scheduling, venue bookings, logistics, agendas, meeting papers, minutes and action tracking.
- Support the preparation of presentations, reports, planning documents and governance papers.
- Maintain and monitor action trackers, planning schedules and workstream documentation to support programme delivery.
- Provide support in the organisation and delivery of Safety & Security governance meetings and coordination groups.
- Assist with the coordination of operational planning activities and readiness workstreams across non-stadia venues.
- Support the delivery of tournament milestone activities, workshops, exercises as required throughout the tournament planning cycle.

What we’re looking for
- Motivated and passionate about working within sporting events.
- General interest in Safety and Security and tournament operations.
- Excellent administration and organisational skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to both establish and maintain relationships with wide ranging and diverse stakeholders.
- Extensive experience in the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Location & Working Pattern
Based at Wembley Stadium, with travel across the UK & Ireland as required.
- 2026: 3 days/week onsite
- 2027: 3–4 days/week onsite
- 2028: Full-time onsite during tournament delivery
