Safety & Assurance Engineer
📍 Aberdeen / Hybrid Working
📄 Contract | Outside IR35 | Long Term Project

We are seeking a Safety & Assurance Engineer to support the delivery of safety critical engineering projects within a highly regulated environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring systems and services are safe, resilient, and compliant throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce and maintain Safety & Assurance documentation.
- Support hazard identification, risk assessment, and mitigation activities.
- Facilitate and contribute to safety workshops.
- Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Cyber Security, Human Factors, and Assurance teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety management processes and regulatory requirements.
Experience Required

- HNC or equivalent qualification in Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
- Experience within safety-critical, regulated, or engineering environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience with safety assurance, risk management, or governance activities would be advantageous.
