We’re looking for a Safety Consultant to support our Projects and Compliance divisions, helping deliver safety compliance across UK client sites, including some of the UK’s largest manufacturing facilities and associated construction projects.
About the Opportunity
This role combines practical contractor safety support, site safety systems and compliance auditing. You’ll promote safe working practices on client sites, delivering inductions and inspections, supporting permit-to-work systems and helping maintain accurate safety records and reporting. You’ll also conduct compliance audits and support work undertaken in Principal Contractor and Principal Designer roles, gaining experience across both operational sites and construction projects.

The position is based in Bristol, with time elsewhere determined by the support requirements of our Projects and Compliance divisions.
This is an opportunity for someone with an existing foundation in health and safety to broaden their experience and progress within the safety profession.
Your role will include:
- Delivering contractor safety inductions and carrying out site safety inspections.
- Supporting contractors and site teams to follow site safety requirements.
- Supporting site safety systems, including permit-to-work arrangements, record keeping and reporting.
- Conducting compliance audits against project CDM and relevant UK legal requirements, recording findings and highlighting areas requiring attention.
- Supporting the delivery of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer responsibilities.
- Providing practical safety support across manufacturing facilities and associated construction projects.
- Working across our Projects and Compliance divisions to meet client and site support requirements.
You’ll fit in well if you are:
- NEBOSH Certificate qualified, with at least two years’ experience in a related safety profession.
- Comfortable taking a practical approach to health and safety in site environments.
- A clear communicator who can explain safety requirements to contractors and site teams.
- Organised and thorough, with good attention to detail when inspecting sites, reviewing compliance and maintaining records.
- Able to adapt to different client environments and changing support requirements.
- Keen to develop your knowledge and build a long-term career within the safety profession.
You will also need a full, clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work use.

Please note
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, with a minimum of two days a week (20 hours) based in Bristol. The remaining 20 hours will be determined by the support requirements of our Projects and Compliance divisions and may involve travel to other UK client sites.
The anticipated commencement date is December 2026 or January 2027.
