The Role Outline: Your Shift at a Glance
Forget rigid auditing and clipboards. As our Safety Development Officer, you are the friendly face, trusted partner, and creative fixer for our hotel teams across the country. Based ideally around the North West with national travel, you will bridge the gap between complex safety laws and real-world hospitality, educating our teams and building a safety culture people actually want to be part of.

Your Shift: What You’ll Actually Be Doing
As our Safety Development Officer, you are the engine of the shift. We trust you to handle:
- The Creative Fixer: Taking the law, simplifying it, and working out practical, clever ways for our teams to comply. You look at compliance through a creative lens: "here is the requirement, now how do we make this work smoothly on shift?"
- The Trusted Educator: Out in the field "doing the do", acting as a supportive mentor and friend to our hotel teams. You will coach, train, and guide people with genuine human warmth rather than corporate jargon.
- The Culture & Policy Shaper: Bringing fresh ideas to our safety policies. You will collaborate with teams in challenged operations to solve headaches, streamline processes, and build a positive, proactive environment.
