ROLE OVERVIEW
We’re looking for experienced Safety Engineers to support acquisition safety work across delivery team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing safety requirements and documentation
- Supporting Safety Management Systems
- Identifying hazards and risk-reduction measures
- Applying relevant policy, standards and legislation
- Scrutinising verification & validation activity
- Engaging with technical stakeholders and project safety panels
- Providing oversight of contractor outputs and coaching junior staff

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Solid experience in system safety, safety assurance, hazard identification and risk reduction within complex engineering environments (ideally defence, regulated or similar). You’ll be comfortable generating technical safety requirements and documentation, contributing to safety reviews, and working with a range of stakeholders.

Location: Bristol
Eligibility for security clearance (may be required for certain contracts)
