Job Title: Safety Technician (Fall Arrest)
Location: Crawley, West Sussex (with UK travel)
Salary: £36,000 – £45,000 per annum (DOE) + Performance Bonus, Paid Overtime & Excess Travel Allowance
About the Company
Our client is one of the UK’s most respected height safety specialists. With many years of industry leadership, they deliver world-class fall protection and safe access solutions across construction, commercial, aerospace, healthcare, and retail sectors.
Due to sustained business growth and ongoing modernization, they are seeking an experienced Safety Technician to join the dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspection & Recertification: Conduct on-site recertification and maintenance of fall protection systems across the UK using state-of-the-art software.
- Reporting: Document inspection findings, generating reports and photos for non-compliant or failed systems to enable quotes for repairs or replacements.
- Training Delivery: Provide on-site product training and conduct toolbox talks focused on working safely at height.
- Installations & Repairs: Carry out maintenance, repairs, and new installations of products as required.
- Safety & Compliance: Conduct PPE inspections and monitor installation teams on-site.
- Business Support: Proactively identify on-site sales opportunities and generate leads for system upgrades or additional products.

Candidate Requirements
- Proven background in technical inspections and testing.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and safety-conscious approach to work.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel nationally (overnight stays required).
- Note: Fall protection experience is essential for this role.
