Job Description
Sysco are currently recruiting for a Safety, Training & Fleet Compliance Administrator to join the Risk & Compliance team on a part-time, permanent basis, working 4 days per week.
As the Safety, Training & Fleet Compliance Administrator, you will provide essential administrative and coordination support across the Group’s fleet management. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate and up to date records, supporting compliance requirements, producing management information and ensuring a high quality service is provided to sites across the business.
This role is offering a hybrid working contract (minimum 1 day per week on-site), with occasional travel to our office for team collaboration and business requirements, so you must be comfortable travelling to the office when required.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Safety, Training & Fleet Compliance function to help achieve departmental objectives.
- Support the maintenance and protection of the Group Operator's Licence.
- Maintain the company’s Fleet Management database, ensuring information is accurate, complete and up to date.
- Maintain the Motor Insurance Database and ensure relevant information is accurately recorded.
- Produce accurate and timely management information, reports and presentations as required.
- Provide support and guidance to sites on the administration and management of fleet activities.
- Ensure the provision of a comprehensive and responsive Fleet Management administration service across the business.
- Support the Safety, Training & Fleet Compliance Admin Manager with a range of activities and take ownership of delegated responsibilities.
- Maintain high standards of data quality and accuracy across relevant systems and reports.
- Work collaboratively with the wider Safety, Training & Fleet Compliance team and Group Operations to ensure compliance activities are completed effectively and within required timescales.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency and deliver cost effective solutions within departmental budgets.
- Challenge existing processes and look for innovative ways of improving the Risk & Compliance function.
- Support the maintenance and achievement of team KPIs and departmental objectives.

About you:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within an administrative, compliance, fleet or similar environment and possess excellent organisational and attention to detail skills. You will be confident working with data and producing accurate reports, with strong IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
You will be an excellent communicator, able to build effective working relationships with colleagues, sites, suppliers and external stakeholders. You will have a proactive and commercially aware approach, with the confidence to identify opportunities for improvement and challenge existing processes where appropriate.
Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities, you will be comfortable working independently while also contributing effectively as part of a wider team. A Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) in National Road Haulage would be advantageous, alongside an understanding of fleet management, transport compliance or relevant regulatory requirements.
