Sage Intacct Consultant
Location: Remote
Salary: £60K - £70K (DOE)
Start Date: ASAP
Job Description:
Chapman Tate Associates is currently working with a growing Sage Intacct organisation that is looking to add an experienced Sage Intacct Consultant to its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sage Intacct professional to work across a range of client projects, helping businesses get more from their finance systems through effective implementation, configuration and optimisation.
You won't simply be supporting an existing system. You'll be involved throughout the full ERP project lifecycle — from understanding business requirements and designing solutions through to configuration, testing, training and go-live.
The role will suit someone who enjoys working closely with clients, solving complex business problems and turning those requirements into practical Sage Intacct solutions.
With Sage Intacct continuing to develop across AI, automation, integrations, reporting and connected finance, this is an exciting time to be working within the ecosystem. Recent developments include AI-powered AP automation, the Intacct AI Gateway and expanded API capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support Sage Intacct implementation projects from requirements gathering through to configuration, testing and go-live.
- Work directly with clients to understand their finance and business processes and translate requirements into effective Intacct solutions.
- Configure Sage Intacct across core areas including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Purchasing and Reporting.
- Support clients with multi-entity, financial reporting and consolidation requirements.
- Provide functional support and troubleshooting, helping users resolve issues and maximise the value of their Intacct environment.
- Work alongside Project Managers and wider delivery teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Support data migration, integrations and system upgrades.
- Work with APIs and third-party applications where required to connect Intacct with the wider technology ecosystem.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards and financial outputs.
- Produce clear documentation, process guides and training materials.
- Deliver engaging user training and support clients through system adoption and change.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes through automation and optimisation.
- Act as a trusted Sage Intacct advisor, helping clients make the most of the platform as their businesses grow.

Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Sage Intacct Consultant, Functional Consultant or ERP Consultant.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Sage Intacct.
- Previous experience delivering Sage Intacct implementations from requirements through to go-live.
- Strong understanding of core finance processes, including GL, AP, AR, purchasing and financial reporting.
- Experience with multi-entity environments would be highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of Sage Intacct reporting, dashboards and customisation.
- Experience with data migration and integrations.
- Understanding of APIs, XML, middleware or third-party integrations would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability with a consultative approach.
- Comfortable working independently within a fully remote environment.
- A genuine interest in ERP technology and helping clients improve their finance processes.
