Job Description
Are you the kind of person who gets a little too excited about dimensional reporting? Do you dream of General Ledger Account Codes? Have you ever explained multi-entity consolidations at a dinner party and somehow made it interesting?
Congratulations — you might be exactly who we're looking for.
We're on the hunt for a Sage Intacct Account Manager to join our team. Someone who can talk about cloud accounting with clients doesn't flinch at "can we customize the dashboard?” and genuinely enjoys turning finance chaos into beautifully reconciled order.
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to deliver Customer expansion of Sage Intacct to our UK Customer Base. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in product delivery or Pre Sales, ideally implementing or demonstrating solutions with an existing partner and will be looking to move into a more commercially focused role using your skill set to add value to our customer base whilst driving incremental sales. You will work closely with our Product and Marketing teams to meet and exceed margin targets.
Location: UK/Remote

- Solid hands-on experience with Sage Intacct (non-negotiable — this is the whole gig - Although just spelling Intacct correctly is a good start)
- (TBH Netsuite, Iplict, & Sage 200 experience is just as good – we can cross train you), but Sage Intacct will be a BIG bonus
- A genuine love of client relationships, not just spreadsheets
- Confidence presenting to finance directors and explaining things simply and concisely
- Sharp commercial instincts — you can spot a renewal risk or upsell opportunity from a mile off
- Essential - 3 years relevant client focus commercial experience.
- Essential - Working understanding of accounting processes systems.
- Essential - Must reside around UK and Ireland
- Bonus points if you've ever described a successful integration as "perfection”

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
