Sage X3 Finance Consultant
Location: Remote
Salary: £70K - £80K (DOE)
Start Date: ASAP
Job Description:
Chapman Tate Associates is currently working with a growing Sage X3 organisation that is looking to bring an experienced Sage X3 Consultant into its team. This is an opportunity for an experienced X3 professional to take ownership of complex Finance and Distribution projects, working closely with clients to understand their business processes, configure solutions and deliver meaningful improvements through Sage X3.
You won't simply be working through a list of tickets or carrying out routine system administration. You'll be involved across the full project lifecycle, from initial requirements and solution design through to configuration, testing, go-live and ongoing optimisation.
The role is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work autonomously while still being part of a collaborative consulting environment.
With Sage X3 continuing to evolve across finance, distribution, manufacturing, automation and AI, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work on interesting ERP projects and develop their expertise further.

- Lead and support Sage X3 implementation projects from initial requirements through to configuration, testing and go-live.
- Work closely with clients to understand their Finance processes and translate business requirements into effective X3 solutions.
- Configure and optimise Sage X3 across areas including Finance, Sales, Procurement and Manufacturing.
- Provide functional and technical support, troubleshooting issues and helping users get the most from their X3 environment.
- Work alongside Project Managers and wider delivery teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Develop and maintain Crystal Reports, SEI dashboards and BI/reporting solutions.
- Support data migration, system upgrades, integrations and ongoing optimisation.
- Produce clear documentation, process guides and training materials.
- Deliver engaging user training and help clients adopt new functionality effectively.
- Act as a trusted X3 advisor to clients, identifying opportunities to improve processes and maximise the value of their ERP investment.
- Share knowledge and best practice with junior consultants and contribute to the wider consulting team.
Requirements:

- Proven experience working as a Sage X3 Consultant, Functional Consultant or ERP Consultant.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Sage X3 Finance.
- Experience across additional X3 modules such as Sales, Procurement, Inventory and/or Manufacturing.
- Previous experience delivering Sage X3 implementations from requirements through to go-live.
- Strong understanding of configuration, business processes and ERP project delivery.
- Experience with data migration, reporting, integrations and system upgrades.
- Knowledge of Crystal Reports, SEI or BI/reporting tools would be highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach to problem solving and the ability to work independently.
- Comfortable working within a fully remote consulting environment.
