Salaried GP | 15-minute appointments | BMA workload | Variety of working patterns
Background
This is a practice moving through genuine transformation, embracing technology and diversification within its clinical teams. A dedicated central admin built by the local GP Federation team filters incoming correspondence, so only what genuinely needs a GP’s attention reaches your desk. If you want to be part of building something that is embracing modern General Practice, rather than a surgery that is stuck-in-the-mud, this is worth strong consideration.
Location
The practice sits centrally within Camberley, Surrey. Camberley is well placed for commuting, with Bracknell around 20 minutes away by car, Farnborough around 15 minutes, and Guildford around 25 minutes, giving easy access to a wider choice of shopping, leisure and family amenities.
The Practice
- GP Training Practice, with a strong record of converting trainees into Salaried GPs
- Protected 30-minute mid-morning coffee break built into each working day
- Home visiting largely covered by paramedic practitioners and a separate proactive care team
- Large salaried GP team, supported by Pharmacists, Advanced Nurse Practitioners and wider multidisciplinary support
- Mid-sized practice, based in purpose-built premises close to the town centre

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
