Job Description
Amwell Surgery is a well-established, patient-focused, and supportive GP practice in the heart of Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire. We are currently seeking a short to possible long-term Salaried GP to join our friendly and dynamic team from November 2026.
We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality patient care within a modern, purpose-built facility, serving a population of over 14,000+ patients. As a dedicated training practice, we offer a vibrant and collaborative environment with excellent support for professional development and work-life balance.

What We Offer
- Supportive Multidisciplinary Team
- 4 GP Partners (all GP Trainers) and 4 Salaried GPs
- 4 Practice Nurses (including minor illness and HRT clinics)
- 2 Healthcare Assistants
- PCN clinical support: Pharmacists, First Contact Physiotherapists, Mental Health Nurse
- Acute visiting service and Hospital at Home support
Work Pattern & Hours

- Patient contact hours: 08:30 – 17:30
- Half-duty day sessions once or twice per week, evening duty until 18:30
Positive Practice Culture

Start Date: November 2026
Salary: £11,600 per session + Indemnity + NHS Pension
