Background
A purpose-built health centre right off the M5, with genuine flexibility on how up to 8 sessions are structured across one or two GPs. Add a modern building with room to grow, a young and comparatively (compared to the local area) straightforward patient population, and a Training Practice building real momentum, and this is a rare opportunity for the right GP. If you want to get on with the clinical job without unnecessary complication, read on.
Location
The practice is based on the outskirts of Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset, right alongside the M5, meaning no need to drive into the town centre at all. Bristol is around 30 minutes away by motorway, with Clevedon around 20 minutes, making this a genuinely easy commute for anyone based along the M5 corridor.
The Practice
- Training practice, currently supporting Foundation Year 2 doctors, with GP trainees due to join imminently
- Purpose-built, modern health centre with on-site parking, set within a retail hub
- Stable partnership team, supported by a loyal team of Salaried GPs
- A younger, working-age patient demographic drawn from surrounding new-build estates, giving a different clinical caseload to many neighbouring practices
- CQC Good
- Newly qualified GPs are welcome, and Tier 2 Visa Sponsorship is available for the right candidate

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
