Salaried GP | Wirral

Background

This is a genuinely light workload role in a supportive GP Training Practice, with protected morning home visits, total triage and a dedicated meds manager taking the bulk of prescription queries off GPs’ hands. Add a fixed three-day working pattern (with no Mondays or Fridays!) and this is a role built for a GP who wants a settled, family friendly week without giving up variety or teaching involvement.

Location

The practice is based on the Wirral, within easy reach of Liverpool (around 15 minutes via the Mersey Tunnel), Chester (around 30 minutes) and Ellesmere Port (around 20 minutes). The Wirral Peninsula’s compact geography means most of the surrounding area is a straightforward commute, whichever direction you’re coming from.

The Practice

  • Established training practice, with F2 doctors and GP registrars already in place
  • Genuinely light workload: protected morning home visits, total triage and a dedicated meds manager absorbing the bulk of prescription queries
  • Fixed three day working pattern across five sessions, ideal for a settled, family friendly week
  • Small, friendly and stable team with an open-door culture and no history of GPs being asked to work beyond their sessions
  • Small practice list size, supporting a genuinely personal style of general practice
  • CQC rated Good overall, with Good ratings in every domain

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
