Salaried GP – £13,668 per Session | BMA workload | Partnership Potential

About the Role

A genuinely manageable GP workload.

Well-established GP Training Practice seeking a Salaried GP for 4-6 sessions in the Bodmin area. This is a highly organised practice with strong MDT support, advanced triage systems and a team structure designed to reduce GP workload and improve day-to-day sustainability.

Salary & Benefits

  • £11,563 per session for the first 6 months
  • Rising to £13,668 per session thereafter

Workload & Structure

  • 4-6 sessions
  • 15-minute appointments throughout
  • Routine clinics: 22 patients per day (11+11)
  • Duty clinics: 29 patients per day (16+13)
  • Team-based Duty system – no isolated solo Duty sessions
  • Coffee breaks built into both AM and PM sessions
  • Minimal home visits – largely managed by Paramedics with a dedicated Visiting GP rota
  • AI-supported triage and highly effective workflow systems
  • GPs see less than 10% of incoming admin due to specialist coding/admin support

  • Established GP Training Practice with multiple trainers

Requirements

You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list.
