Role Description

The Sales Assistant role is a part-time, on-site position based in the London Area, United Kingdom. In this role, the Sales Assistant supports customers on the shop floor, providing informed product guidance, styling suggestions, and a welcoming in-store experience. Daily tasks include:

  • Greeting customers
  • Handling enquiries
  • Maintaining visual merchandising standards
  • Replenishing stock
  • Assisting with fitting rooms

The role also involves processing sales transactions, managing returns and exchanges, and keeping the sales area organized and clean. The Sales Assistant collaborates closely with the store team to meet sales targets and uphold Reiss brand standards in customer service and presentation.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Sales abilities
  • Effective people skills, including Interpersonal Skills and clear Communication
  • Solid Organization Skills to manage tasks, stock, and store presentation efficiently
  • Ideally, prior retail or fashion experience, with an interest in styling and contemporary fashion
  • Ability to work flexible part-time shifts, including weekends and peak trading periods
  • Reliability, teamwork, and a proactive approach to solving problems and supporting colleagues
