We’re hiring brilliant people, and we’ll be upfront: sales at HENI is hard work.

We’re looking for people who listen well, stay sharp under pressure, and enjoy connecting with people. You’ll have a real appetite for sales, an interest in art, and the ambition to build your career in this field. If that’s you, we’d love to hear from you.

About HENI

HENI is an international art business working where art meets technology. Our work spans printmaking, physical artwork marketplaces, digital art, publishing, news, video production and art research. We work with the world’s leading artists, estates and institutions to make art accessible to audiences around the world. We’re ambitious, fast-moving and unafraid to challenge how the art world operates.

We’re growing fast, and we’re expanding our sales team. These are new seats at the table, not replacement hires.

The roles

Our sales team builds relationships on two sides of the business, and we’re hiring for both.

Client sales

You’ll build relationships with collectors and clients across the UK, US and beyond. This is a desk-based, high-volume role: calls, emails and messages that are direct, warm and written to get a response. The outreach never stops, so you should find that energising rather than exhausting.

Business development

You’ll find, approach and secure partnerships with artists, artists’ estates, museums and institutions to produce print editions. This is relationship-led sales with a long cycle, often six months or more. You’ll make the first approach, negotiate terms, and then see each collaboration through production and marketing to its release on the HENI platform.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What you’ll be doing

  • Building and managing a pipeline of prospects, and finding creative ways to reach the right decision makers.
  • Making confident outreach by phone, email, in person or at events, and staying resilient when the early answer is no.
  • Tailoring your pitch to each person and presenting HENI’s offering with credibility and enthusiasm.
  • Testing and refining your approach with data: tracking response and conversion rates and always looking for ways to improve them.
  • Keeping careful records of outreach, pipeline status and relationship history in our CRM.
  • Nurturing long-term relationships and acting as an ambassador for HENI beyond any single sale.
  • Working closely with colleagues across the senior, production and marketing teams, and communicating clearly and concisely with all of them.

What makes this different

There’s no commission, no lone wolves and no cutthroat targets.

We believe the best sales culture comes from collaboration, not competition. This team shares goals, wins and knowledge, and pushes each other to grow our collective revenue. If you’re more motivated by being part of a high-performing team than by chasing individual bonuses, you’ll fit right in.

We have a growing US client base, so we need some flexibility on hours, and we’ll be flexible right back.

What we’re looking for

  • A track record in sales, business development, partnerships or a similar relationship-driven role, ideally in a corporate or office environment.
  • Concise communication and real attention to detail. Every word earns its place.
  • Strong organisation and pipeline management, with the ability to juggle many live conversations at once.
  • Drive, self-motivation and resilience. You know what it takes to work hard for a result, and you can do it consistently.
  • Commercial sense: you always think about where the value lies in an opportunity and what’s in HENI’s best interest.
  • An interest in art. For client sales, it’s a bonus rather than a requirement. For business development, we’re looking for genuine knowledge of contemporary art and print, along with the polish to be equally credible in a director’s office and an artist’s studio.
  • For business development roles, the ability to travel regularly, including internationally, and experience managing projects through to delivery.

These roles are for people who want to build a career in sales. If you’re mainly looking for a route into the wider art world or a stepping stone to another team, this probably isn’t the right fit. But if sales is where you want to grow, and you’re ready to work for it – you’ll get real ownership, direct access to senior leadership, and the chance to build a network you can be proud of.
