Account Executive (Mid-Market / Enterprise SaaS)
Reading, Berkshire (Hybrid – 3 days per week)
£60,000–£70,000 Base + Uncapped Commission (OTE £90,000–£100,000)
We're partnering with a fast-growing B2B software company looking to hire an experienced Account Executive to join their expanding commercial team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proven SaaS sales professional who enjoys winning new business, managing complex sales cycles, and selling value-driven software solutions into mid-market and enterprise organisations.
The Role
As an Account Executive, you'll be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from discovery through to negotiation and close. Working alongside the Business Development team, you'll engage with senior stakeholders, understand business challenges, and demonstrate how the platform delivers measurable commercial value.

Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle from qualified opportunity through to close.
- Sell SaaS solutions into Mid-Market and Enterprise organisations.
- Conduct discovery meetings and product demonstrations.
- Build relationships with multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Develop account strategies to win new business.
- Forecast accurately and manage opportunities within the CRM.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Leadership.
- Consistently achieve and exceed quarterly revenue targets.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- 5+ years' experience in a quota-carrying Account Executive or closing sales role.
- A successful track record selling SaaS, software, or FinTech solutions.
- Experience managing complex B2B sales cycles.
- Success selling into Mid-Market and Enterprise customers.
- Strong commercial acumen and consultative selling skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Experience using Salesforce, HubSpot, or a similar CRM.

Desirable Experience
- FinTech or Financial Software sales.
- Payments, ERP, Finance Automation, or Business Software.
- MEDDICC, MEDDPICC, Challenger, or similar sales methodology.
- Multi-stakeholder enterprise sales.
